Backplate for Dark Drake or Dark Warrior

This backplate is compatible with our Dark Drake and Dark Warrior breastplates. It is crafted from 18 gauge steel and made from the new type of Dark Metal finish that gives the steel a rugged, textured look, like it has been around for ages. The dark metal finish also protects against rust and is very durable. That's right, it will not rust or scratch upon contact with another metal! This is the newest development in armour and is superior to the regular blackened or gun blued steel. You do not have to keep this armour oiled. There are leather straps attached to the backplate that match up perfectly with the compatible breastplates. The backplate features a simple design with a row of studs along the edges and shaped shoulder blades for a masculine look.

Large Sizing: Chest: 24 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 46 inch to 53 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.
Medium Sizing: Chest: 21 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 40 inch to 46 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.
Small Sizing: Chest: 19 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 29 inch to 36 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.

These are measurements of the armour only, these measurements do not include the straps/buckles.

Keep in mind that if you are wearing a gambeson or heavily padded shirt, to take your measurement while wearing the garment and order by that measurement.

Size SMALL is best for kids approximately 6-12 years old (don't order by age, order according the measurements!)
