Windlass Steelcrafts® has carefully crafted this sword to be a replica of a prop that was used in the historical epic film, which was directed by the talented Ridley Scott. Maximus rises through the many brutal ranks in the gladiatorial arena with the mission to avenge his family’s murder. The weapons and costumes were breathtaking, as this sword is. It has been hand-forged from high carbon steel and given a full tang. The wooden handle is complemented beautifully by a short guard and round pommel.
