In battle, effective hand protection is essential and this is where the Ratio Gauntlets come in. Providing coverage for the knuckles to the forearm, these steel gloves feature rigid and sculpted knuckle plates, short vambraces attached to the hand plates by leather which protect the wrist and forearm, and overlapping steel plates on a leather backing to guard the back of the hand. To ensure a secure and comfortable fit, leather straps are included. Great for costumes and re-enactments, these gauntlets will make sure that a fatal blow to your hand does not mark your doom.

The Ratio Gauntlets are licensed ConQuest armour. ConQuest is the biggest LARP gathering in Europe.

Please Note: If armour becomes wet, be sure to dry it thoroughly as soon as possible. About every six months, the metal should be wiped clean and then lightly oiled or waxed. A hard brush may be used to remove dirt from leather pieces, followed by washing with a leather soap and conditioning with an appropriate oil or polish.
