The Medieval Royal Crusader Knight Shield Armor dates back to the Crusades of the Middle Ages where Christians fought to gain control of the Holy Land. This regal stainless steel piece centers around an ornately detailed emblem of two knight crusaders on a horse crest in the middle surrounded by three lion guardians and four fleur-de lis images. Each of these symbolize rich history with the lions representing England, Normandy and the Aquitaine while the fleur-de-lis etchings signify the throne of France, the Holy Trinity, purity, and a sixth sons symbol of heraldry. For added enhancement, this shield features a red and white crackle finish with gold hints and double and triple reinforced steel edges.
