To reflect the unique detailed fashion taste of the Medici Duchess, the gown also has some adornments and notable 28 marching pearl buttons on the sleeves. With the sleeves release to reveal its silk blouse and the illusion of a slim waistlines fostered but the Bumroll, the floor length hoopskirt and the rolled out chest line corset, it is not har to see why the deceased wife of Grand Duke Cosimo would want to sleep in it forever.
The dress is made in the USA by Sofia’s Stitches, a house well known for its unmistakable hand sewing flair and attention to the simple details that bring back to life the masterpieces of the past.
