The Hoplites date back to the days of ancient Greece. These citizen soldiers gained a reputation for their phalanx formation tactic on the battlefield and were typically armed with shields and spears. These military people were also dressed for the occasion with the finest of armor including the Ancient Greek Hoplite Greaves. This solid leg protection provides ease of movement with an open rear while a single rounded metal plate guards the front. Constructed from 18 gauge steel, this historically authentic reproduction comes with adjustable leather straps for a comfortable and secure fit. Great for costumes and role-playing.
