The Galfantry Iron Cross Medieval Foam Shield dates back to the Middle Ages when crosses were quite popular and seen on uniforms, weapons, and public buildings. The cross was a symbol of honor and loyalty to one's country. Since that time, crosses have not disappeared, but still remain a widespread emblem. Drawing upon historical inspiration, this shield features a handsome medieval cross as it's centerpiece and is surrounded by ornate simulated grommets on the edges. With high quality polyurethane craftsmanship, this piece is light weight, functional, and easy to carry with the inclusion of 17.75 in. nylon straps and velcro fasteners.
