This battle-ready Blank SCA Shield is made of 16 gauge thick steel which will protect you from poundings in reenactments and tournaments.
This version of the shield is a for display and comes with a wall hanging chain. We have a version with think leather straps on the back for SCA combat available as well product code GM-SH250-BR.
This medieval shield is blank, painted black, making it easy to paint your own design over the top.
It is your responsibility to understand SCA combat rules and regulations. These rules and regulations vary from tournament to tournament and all standards are subject to interpretation by Tournament Marshall. For your own protection, do not use this or any other shield in any combat activity unless it is approved by SCA Officials prior to event.

Returns are accepted within 15 days of receiving your order. If you need to make an exchange/return, please email us at returns@armorvenue.com within 15 days of receiving your order and we will authorize it and send you a return form to fill out and put in the return box. I have a little problem with the size of the helmet (morion). It is a bit tight and difficult to wear. Perhaps, there should have been more information on this issue.
