Description/Features
This Brigandine Torso Armor is constructed from plates of 18 gauge steel which are stoutly riveted to a shell of quality suede leather. The leather gives the armor form and the armor has been craftily constructed by only riveting the individual plates to the leather which allows for the plates to move and glide past one another as needed to ensure that the movement of the bearer is minimally impacted. This gives this armor a great degree of articulation and movement.
The armor is secured at its sides with a set of strong steel buckles and thick leather straps and these are also used to adjust its size to fit.
Brigandine armor was quite common in the later medieval period due to its ability to bring the protection of steel plate armor to the wearer at good cost. It is often depicted on men at arms and soldiers of the period. Knights and nobles would also wear brigandine but they would make sure to distinguish themselves from more common warriors by using colorful and more exotic fabrics as the backing and outer shell of their brigandine armor.

I have a little problem with the size of the helmet (morion). It is a bit tight and difficult to wear. Perhaps, there should have been more information on this issue.
Otherwise, the morion is excellent.”
