This working Medieval Crossbow has a hardwood stock and a steel prod. The stirrup, bow irons, nut and trigger are crafted from steel. Three wooden crossbow bolts with blackened steel heads are included.
This functional crossbow can be loaded by hand with a foot in the stirrup and a pull from a strong individual, but it can be loaded much easier with mechanical aid. A belt hook, windlass or crannequin can be used to load this crossbow. All three options are sold elsewhere on this site.

I have a little problem with the size of the helmet (morion). It is a bit tight and difficult to wear. Perhaps, there should have been more information on this issue.
