If you were a Roman soldier sometime around 100 A.D. when Emperor Trajan reigned, you would have worn something like this Roman Belt with Hanging Leather Strips. This is a time when the Roman Empire controlled nearly 6.5 million km of land and there were a multitude of changes taking place in religion, language, philosophy, architecture, law and government. You would have been a soldier during one of the most influential periods in history.
Referred to as Cinculum Militaire, it is interesting that even back then, soldiers appreciated the extra detail that made them look even more powerful. Our belt will fit up to a 46-inch waist and features five handsome studded leather hanging strips. It is the finishing touch to pair up with our Roman Tunic or Leather Baldric.
