This Viking Mask Helmet features a full chainmail skirt (aventail) to protect around the neck and upper chest area. The front of the helmet has brass plating around the eyes and foreheard. It is made of 18 gauge steel and comes unlined. The chainmail skirt is butted. You can add an arming cap or your own padding for a more comfortable fit. This helm is ideal for display, costumes, and role-playing.
